Tips for Selling Your Home

Buyers decide in 3 seconds if they want to see the inside of your home. Your internet presentation is what sells your home.

Stage your house to sell. Put away all the extra clutter. You’ll have to pack it all up when you move anyway, so get a head-start to help you get more money for your home.

Clean, then clean some more. Do buyer’s really notice baseboards? Yes, they do! If your home looks like it’s been lived in, buyers will have a harder time picturing their family in the home. Make it look like a model home. I’m always happy to help you stage and even clean prior to listing.

Take down any personal items like family photos and religious items.

Get professional photographs by a real estate photographer.

Let’s talk about curb appeal. When buyers pull up to your home, they want to feel warm and fuzzy. Add some pretty flowers, sweep the sidewalk, pull the weeds. Help them fall in love with your home the minute they see it.

Remove any high ticket items such as guns or jewelry prior to home showings.

Price it right to begin. If your home is priced correctly, it should sell within the first 14 days. If it’s over priced, buyers will decide they’re not interested and won’t be interested, even after a price drop.
